Fruzan Seifi completed her Master degree in theater (MFA) at the Actors Studio Drama School, New York in 2003. She was appointed by James Lipton as one of the best performers of the year at the Actors Studio Drama School in 2003.
She worked as an actress, director, and an international acting coach in Los Angeles; Italy (Milan, Bologna, Brescia, Genova); and Mexico (University of Merida); holding numerous training workshops in major acting conservatories.
Fruzan studied at the Actors Studio in close collaboration with some of the well known and respected actors in Hollywood including: Ellen Burstyn, Martin Landau, Lee Grant, Arthur Penn, Mark Rydel. She speaks fluent Italian, English, Persian, and Spanish.
The Promenade Playhouse & Conservatory is a Santa Monica based Acting, Screenwriting and Directing school that serves artists from Los Angeles, Hollywood, and throughout California. The Conservatory offers acting, screenwriting, directing, and improv comedy classes. It is a well-respected school that serves both local and international students. International students can also take English As A Second Language classes (ESL), and may qualify for a federal F1 Visa. Instructors include Natalia Lazarus, Syd Field, Matt Moore, Sally Kirkland, and several other celebrity teachers and Hollywood Casting Directors. Alumni include Ken Jeong, Teresa Ruiz and Leslie Garza. Acting techniques include Stella Adler, Lee Strasberg, Sanford Meisner, and Michael Chekhov. The Playhouse is home to 3rd Street Comedy and the Promenade Players theatre company. The Promenade Playhouse also offers theatre rental, stage rental, screening rooms, and rehearsal space.
