Directions

Take the 10 (Santa Monica) Freeway west towards Santa Monica.
Exit at the 4th/5th Street off-ramp, take a right on 5th Street, and continue until you pass Colorado Blvd.
Turn left onto Broadway and stay on Broadway going towards the Ocean (West).
Turn right (North) onto 2nd Street.
There is a parking structure on the right side of 2nd Street marked #6. It is between Broadway and Santa Monica Blvd. (This is the easiest place to park.8am - 6pm , first 2 hours free, then $1 each additional 30 minutes; with $7 maximum daily; Entering after 6pm: $3 flat rate. Take the stairway or elevator marked "Third Street Promenade" on the northeast side (away from 2nd Street) down to exit in the well-lit alley, between 2nd St. and the Third Street Promenade. Turn left in the alley.

The Promenade Playhouse & Conservatory is a Santa Monica based Acting, Screenwriting and Directing school that serves artists from Los Angeles, Hollywood, and throughout California. The Conservatory offers acting, screenwriting, directing, and improv comedy classes. It is a well-respected school that serves both local and international students. International students can also take English As A Second Language classes (ESL), and may qualify for a federal F1 Visa. Instructors include Natalia Lazarus, Syd Field, Matt Moore, Sally Kirkland, and several other celebrity teachers and Hollywood Casting Directors. Alumni include Ken Jeong, Teresa Ruiz and Leslie Garza. Acting techniques include Stella Adler, Lee Strasberg, Sanford Meisner, and Michael Chekhov. The Playhouse is home to 3rd Street Comedy and the Promenade Players theatre company. The Promenade Playhouse also offers theatre rental, stage rental, screening rooms, and rehearsal space.
