PART TIME PROGRAMS FOR ACTORS & WRITERS
The courses in the Part Time Program can be taken individually in twelve week sessions or twice a week. Many of these courses are also incorporated into our Full Time Professional Program but in a much more condensed amount of time. The students begin the Acting Program with the established Sanford Meisner Technique, preparing actors in the necessary areas to further their skills, unlocking magic with themselves and allowing their talent and personality to be set free. Through the Repetition Exercise the student will learn to invent and believe in imaginary circumstances specifically, truthfully, personally and imaginatively. The actors are then moved into the Stella Adler Technique where they learn Script Analysis and the breakdown of Physical and Emotional actions.
An introduction into Lee Strasberg's technique Method and Sense Memory Technique ensues following the kinesthetic premises that all our memories and feelings exist and can be recreated through our senses, and that all past experiences will provide a well to draw from, that can be applied to the imaginary circumstances.
